RetIain Healthcare was founded on the vision of our director, drawing from their extensive experience in the healthcare and recruitment sectors. Their mission is to retain highly skilled Care Assistants, Support Workers, and Registered Nurses by fostering a workplace that emphasises high-quality training, career development, and a supportive environment.

Who We Are

Retain Healthcare provide Homecare services, Supported Living and an Agency delivering temporary and permanent staff to the care sector. Our head office is located in the heart of Cheltenham, with additional branches in Chippenham and Salisbury, enabling us to serve the South West region effectively.

Through our branch network, we supply well-trained and fully vetted Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, and Support Workers, ensuring compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for regulated services, including:

  • Personal care
  • Treatment of disease, disorder, and injury
  • Support for individuals living in the community

Safer Independence

Our Safer Independence service empowers individuals to maintain independence at home through the use of assistive technology and light-touch support, including wellbeing checks. This service is especially beneficial for those recovering from reablement or rehabilitation, offering continued assistance to build confidence and achieve personal outcomes.

Fall Detection and Prevention

  • Automatic Fall Detection: The lamp can detect falls in real-time and alert caregivers or family members immediately.
  • Preventative Features: It provides subtle lighting when movement is detected at night, reducing the risk of falls caused by poor visibility.

Data-Orientated Responsive Intervention System 

  • Discreetly monitor activity patterns and receive alerts to changes in daily routines that could indicate a fall or illness.
  • Simply placed on a kitchen shelf, the care sensor automatically relays insights and triggers alerts, without any user interaction - Delivering peace of mind for Vulnerable Independent People (VIPs), their families and care providers.

Our services are supported by a team of Clinical Leads and experienced RGNs, RMNs, RLDNs, and Paediatric Nurses, ensuring we deliver specialiSed, high-quality care across all areas.

We collaborate with each customer to develop and evolve personaliSed support plans that adapt to their changing needs. Our end-of-life pathway is thoughtfully designed with input from customers and families, focusing on:
