New Acquisition
Retain have completed an acquistion of First City Training Ltd - The Acquisition by Retain Healthcare and Retain Skills Ltd is took place at midnight on Monday 31st August 2020.
This means that First City Training has now become a part of the Retain Healthcare / Retain Skills brand - And will be renamed Retain Skills (South West) Ltd.
David Trowbridge, Director said “This represents a fantastic opportunity for us to continue to offer high class training services in Bournemouth and to merge these with the ones provided by Retain Skills from our other offices in Salisbury, Cheltenham, Chippenham and Bristol. We will use this opportunity to invest in new training sessions in house as well as continuing with our range of training designed to meet the requirements of all health and social care providers. We have tailored our training courses to be delivered either Face to Face or by interactive video link accessed via Zoom to support safe learning through the pandemic”
This Acquisition will enable us to deliver the stand-alone Diplomas in Health and Social Care at levels 2, 3, 4 and 5, Business Administration at level 2 and 3, Dementia Awards at levels 2 and 3 and Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance (TAQA) through our City and Guilds approved centre. As well as a wide range VRQ’s distance learning courses through our NCFE / CACHE approved centre.
New sessions will soon be introduced because of the wider skills and experiences we will have in house as a result of this acquisition
