About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse at Retain Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients, including:
  • Delivering personalized personal care
  • Administering medications safely and accurately
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records (daily records, MARS sheets)
  • Managing Syringe Drivers
  • Providing PEG feeding support
  • Performing Catheter care and catheterization (where required)
  • Promoting client independence and well-being
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures
  • Upholding the NMC Code of Conduct at all times
 Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:
  • Proficiency with clinical assessment tools such as Waterlow and MUST
  • Experience in developing comprehensive and individualized care plans
  • Familiarity with the Pillpac system and the PCS digital system (or other current healthcare systems)
 The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A valid and current NMC pin
  • RGN qualification with at least 6 months of post-qualification experience
  • A proven track record of working in a similar adult care environment
  • The ability to prioritize and address residents' individual needs, wishes, and aspirations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, their families, and colleagues

Payroll Administrator
Location: Cheltenham

Salary: £24,000 - £25,000

As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our team. You will handle the full end-to-end payroll process, from processing starters and leavers to calculating statutory deductions and preparing year-end reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle the full end-to-end payroll process, including processing starters and leavers, calculating statutory deductions (SMP, SPP, SSP, and SAP), and preparing year-end reports.
  • Act as the primary contact for advising and resolving employee payroll queries.
  • Process BACS payments accurately and to an agreed timescale.
  • Process BACS Attachment of Earnings.
  • Complete end-of-year processing, including P11Ds and P60s.
  • Deal with manual calculations and update employee records as required.
  • Calculate ad-hoc payments such as holiday pay.
  • Invoice processing.
  • Process P45s for leavers.
  • Deal with HMRC queries.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience with payroll processing software (Sage or similar).
  • Experience using accounting software, particularly Xero, is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

About You:

  • Must hold a valid UK driving license and be willing to travel.
  • A minimum of 6 months of paid experience working with young people in a residential care setting.
  • Proven experience supporting individuals with LD/Autism and challenging behaviours.
  • PBS/PBM Training and demonstrable experience applying these frameworks.
