Care Assistant- Complex Care Package (12 hours days)
Job Description
CARE MORE IN 2024!
We at Retain Healthcare are looking for confident individuals to work in a complex care package in Swindon.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
- Completing regular checks for health and welfare.
- Supporting the customer with their personal care needs.
- Supporting the customer to meet their outcomes.
- Supporting the customer with daily activities such as shopping, hobbies, attending appointments, accessing the community and keeping the home up together with domestic tasks.
- Prompting/Administering medication.
- Use of moving and assisting equipment.
- Encouraging independence where possible.
Requirements:
- Previous care experience necessary
- 25 years old and over
- Must hold a UK driving license
- Ability to prepare and cook balanced meals
- Patient and caring nature
- Weekly pay
- Flexible shift patterns to suit you, alternatively a rolling rota is also available
- DBS cost paid back to you after 100 hours completed

- Following the outcome focused model, encourage customers to undertake personal care and tasks which they are capable of, recognising that their abilities may change, in some circumstances, on a day-to-day basis

Retain Healthcare is seeking compassionate and reliable Care Assistants and Support Workers to join our growing team! Pay rates are £13.50 to £22 per hour (with holiday pay accrued separately)
